Picking flowers in July

A few photos of Mekenzie picking the black eyed susans in our yard. She is wearing the dress we bought for her at Bonnaroo this year. I have also added a few photos of her eating a popsicle on the back deck and wearing her new Paul Frank Julius the Monkey PJ’s. =)

Just a swingin’…

Mekenzie had fun swinging (courtesy of Mr. Nate and a tree in their front yard) with her buddies Kaitlyn and Cade in their hammock. Below are a few pictures of the kids in the hammock (notice how Kaitlyn can still hold onto her saltine crackers while swinging).  There are also a few photos of all three kids playing in a moving box.

A trip to Memphis (day 1)

A few photos of our trip to Memphis last weekend to see family for the Fourth of July. =)

These pictures are from July 2nd after we arrived in town after picking up Papa John at the Nashville airport. We went to Blues City for lunch, visited “Uncle” Eric at work (and ran into “Uncle” Jamie), visited with Uncle Matt, and then headed back to Mimi’s house to swim.

Mekenzie meets (Great) Aunt Jeannie and Uncle Billy.

Mekenzie met Mimi Carol’s older sister (Great Aunt Jeannie) and Jeannie’s husband (Great Uncle Billy) for the first time during their visit to Tennessee back in June. I was only able to get 2 pictures (that look pretty much the same) during their visit but will add more from mom’s camera later. =)
